Jim Johanns will think about taking the Equipment Coordinator position.
Carl Pulvermacher indicated that he would prefer not to serve a 3 rd term as President if someone would be interested in taking over this position. At the very least, he would like to see current vacant positions filled so that there is not so much work / responsibility put on one or two people.
Denise Feivor mentioned that many parents are not aware of the Cottage Grove Soccer Club website. Looking for ideas on how to get the word out on the club.
Suggestions:
-coaches hand out flyers to parents at game
-place an ad in local paper
-place flyers up at schools
These flyers would also recruit the need for volunteers for the club.

Registration fee refunds
Jim Johanns suggested that once fees are paid to MAYSA no refunds are given.
Waived registration fees for coaches

Gym Time
Sue Welsch will follow up with looking for gym time and get results/times/location out to coaches.
Merge with Monona and Cap City Soccer Clubs

Mike Vavrus mentioned that we as a club need to be very clear on what our club wants/represents; why should we do this; and the benefits to the kids.
Mike raised the following issues:
- are we just doing the alliance to get a larger pool selection of kids
- is there three sets of board of directors
- do the clubs get to maintain their own budgets
- is there more coaching opportunities
Carl mentioned that he would like to see competitive team(s) at $100.00/kid and that competitive team(s) would pay for a coach.
Jim Hanson mentioned that the 56ers are for profit – main motive is high end soccer.
Jim Hanson will follow up with club on the feedback from the Verona team on the Yahara/Middleton merger.
