b. |
The CGSC Board of Directors may elect or assign a coach to a new CGSC team or elect or assign a coach to an established CGSC team if there is a vacancy for coach and the affected team has not voted to fill the vacancy in a timely manner. |

If more than one Board-approved volunteer desires to be coach, the selection of coach shall be by team vote, with a single vote majority necessary to elect the coach. Each player(s) parent(s) or legal guardian(s) shall have one (1) vote for each player under the age 18. |

d. |
By a petition signed by two-thirds (2/3) team vote, a team holding membership in CGSC has the right to change its coach(es), assistant coach(es), or manager(s) by written notice to the Board of Directors. A review by the Board will take place, which may include the coach(es), assistant coach(es), or manager(s) response. The Board will then arrive at a determination of the settlement of the petition. |

e. |
The CGSC Board of Directors has the authority to approve or reject an individual as coach of a CGSC team. |
| Section 6: |
Coaches’ Duties and Responsibilities |

a. |
CGSC coaches have the responsibility to conduct themselves on and off the field in a manner that is consistent with the policies and principles of CGSC, to include good sportsmanship to players, parents, and referees, and that their conduct shall reflect well on CGSC and the sport of soccer. |
| |
b. |
CGSC coaches have the responsibility to develop their knowledge of soccer skills and soccer rules and their ability to teach them to players. |
| |
c. |
CGSC coaches have the responsibility to control the behavior of team players, parents, and spectators at games and practices. |
| |
d. |
CGSC coaches have the responsibility to cooperate with referees and preserve the dignity and authority of referees. |
| Section 7: |
Coaches’ Privileges |
| |
a. |
Each CGSC coach, limited to one coach per team, is entitled to an annual waiver of one(1) player fee. |
